Doug Mann has an interesting collection of photographed Japanese vending machines. Apart from the classics (school girl's panties, kerosene, phone chargers,...) I particularly liked the idea of the beetles, the fishing gear, the eggs and the flowers. Although the last ones don't really seem to appealing by the look of things.
As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen a shop, street seller or any other place where you were able to buy 'emergency flowers' that sells something that doesn't scream 'Sorry, I was late...'.
We had a great week skiing, although (as you should have noticed below) by now they can use some new snow and a bit lower temperatures if they want to keep it up till may (as they promise in Obertauern). Below is a picture taken from the 'Kleine KesselSpitze' which we climbed (together with a guide) to find some fresh runs
